How to reduce your cover

 

Step 1 - Access CoverManager through the portal 

Log in to the portal with your Customer Number and scroll down to click the 'CoverManager' button in the What you're currently covered for section of your dashboard.

If this is your first time logging into the portal, you can set up your account following this guide.

Step 2 - Explore options to reduce your level of cover

CoverManager will guide you through the details of your existing cover. CoverManager can also give you an indication of how much your premiums will be if you lower the amount of your insurance.

Step 3 - Adjust your policy or contact us

Once you have made a decision about adjusting your cover, to lower the amount of cover and premium, you can either make the change yourself online using Cover Manager or request a call with one of our Insurance Specialists.

If you choose to speak with us, our Insurance Specialists can confirm the details in your quote and provide general information about how the changes you selected will affect your cover. While they can't provide tailored advice like a financial adviser can, they can help you understand the risks or consequences of reducing insurance. If you'd like to proceed with your quote, they can also arrange the adjustments to your policy.
